This year has started with a bang! We are so thankful for having some good people supporting me in my arts career. The response has been better than expected. I feel like bursting out of my skin, just wanting to draw all the time, but I know that I have to focus on Marketing as well. I hope that everyone will enjoy my artworks and to produce many many more. This will be purely to give people joy, and a positive influence in this otherwise rather negative world. I'm astounded by the political scene at current. Is this negative attacks and revengeful tactics Australian? I certainly hope not. Go Kevin, you are a good leader and that is what we need. Not bitching and bad-mouthing people to make yourself look good. If you need to bad-mouth others, that would simply be because you are not up to standard, and want to bring others down to your standard, Tony and Julia will know about this very well.
The less I know about politics, the better ,yet, I want the world to be good and mostly feel very helpless. I will therefore use my art to express this and have a small positive light in people's lives. I thank God for my talents and gifts. It's a wonderful personal outlet for me personally. I don't talk very much, and will even say that I don't have many good friends. Perhaps because I work so much. It certainly is because we moved to Australia and I left my good friends behind. It's not easy to move to a strange country. If only the criminals here will realise the potential crippling effect of their selfish actions. I sincerely hope that the government can curb the crime rate. That is if they can actually start focusing on positive actions, rather than just defending themselves. We saw that in South Africa and Malaysia where crime is left to run wild at the expense of people's ability to live freely. The more you have, the more problems you have defending it. Oh what is this life anyway. I'm getting myself into a bad spot now. Truth is, we are very fortunate in Australia. I just dont know if people, especially the younger ones, realise this at all. I see a lot of unappreciative and disrespectful young people out there. Perhaps the good ones are not visible because they are doing something constructive. I certainly hope that parents will teach their children to behave and respect others. Respect. In Africa respecting elders is so important, in Malaysia as well. But you dont see it here. Here I go again. I get drawn into this negativeness over and over. I did not sleep much so perhaps I'm a bit grumpy this morning...
Truth is; We are blessed and fortunate, and have so much to be thankful for. Australia is beautiful and there is a world of opportunities here. Thats what we should know and focus on. There will always be some bad things, but it would be our choice what we focus on. I choose to focus on the good, positive, and move forward, making a real positive difference. Praise God!
